Annai Violet Arts & Science College started by Nesarathinam Educational Trust in the year 1997 with a view to facilitate students with futuristic education to compete in the unforeseen global future. With the efforts and concern of our founder, the Institution is imparting value based and comprehensive robust education to all.

The college has always been driven by a quest for excellence; it also recognized a need for Excellence and formed the IQAC (Internal Quality Assessment Cell) Committee to work towards the need. IQAC was formed on 6th February 2014 as per the NAAC guide lines. The IQAC plans and implements strategies for quality assurance. The institution continues to strive for excellence taking in mind of the change in values necessitated by the impact of technology and globalization and the increasing private participation in higher education. IQAC ensures prompt and efficient academic performances. The IQAC is made up of a team of five internal and two external members, headed by the Principal. It meets formally once each semester. It also Endeavours to maintain quality in teaching – Learning and evaluation, it also ensures adequate infrastructure as per the requirements
